Who We Are

Muskoka Town & Country Services Limited was created in 2004 by Murray Ruttan and his son, Scott. After retiring from driving motorcoach for DeNure Tours Murray was quite bored, so Scott came up with the great idea to purchase a neighbours tractor & start plowing driveways to keep him busy.  This little hobby soon grew & before they knew it they were clearing snow for residential & commercial properties in Bracebridge & Gravenhurst.

Now that Murray is fully retired, Scott is running the operation with his partner Emiline. After starting a family, Scott too decided to hang up his motorcoach keys & embark on a new adventure. With the addition of a Palfinger Crane Truck in 2019 and the purchase of “Big Red” from Waite’s Boom Truck Service in 2020, Scott’s vision to take the company in a new direction has become reality!
